Jeff Francouer or Pedro Feliz??
Right now it's clearly Pedro, but I want 2 know who is better trade bait and who will be better later on??
I need 2 know this because I'm offering a trade getting:
C. Crawford(TB-OF)
T. Glavine(NYM-SP)
J. Isringhausen(STL-RP)
I give:
D. Willis(FLA-SP)
A. Otsuka(TEX-RP)
B. Bonds(SF-OF)
and J. Francouer(ATL-OF) or Pedro Feliz(SF-1B,3B,OF)
Is this a fair trade for both of us and who should I give, J. Francouer or P. Feliz?
Who's better??
To answer you first questions, Jeff Francouer to me has more potential to become an all star offensively in this league, and I believe he is in a better and younger lineup in Atlanta which should heat up even more during the summer.
As for the trade offer, you are gaining in your closer position (Isringhausen vs Otsuka), losing in pitching a bit (Glavine vs Willis) and gaining in OF (Crawford vs Bonds %26amp; Francouer or Feliz).
If I were you I would make the trade giving up Feliz if you can, unless you need a third baseman and have another outfielder to replce Francouer, in which case I would give up Francouer.
However, if you need power and walks more the speed I would hold on to Francouer and Bonds for now and give Willis another month to get hot.
Good luck!

Reply:i disagree with your answer choice and his logic.
based on current stats, some players are natualy better early month players, and positioanl changes: you would be making a good trade. Report It
Reply:however you are giving up a closer i think will be better than izzy, a pitcher who will finish better than glavine, and two outfielders that have serious power potention in solid offenses, good luck. Report It
Reply:J. Francouer will cool off
Reply:For starting pitchers your coming out way ahead!!!
T. Glavine- 7-2 2.48 era 51 k's!! vs.
D. Willis- 1-5 5.12 era 36 k's
Relief pithers-
Isringhausen- 15 saves!! On a powerful cardinal team! vs.
Otsuka- 7 saves
Carl Crawford- 19 valuable stolen bases and batting .301 32 runs, Ranked 22 on the season vs.
Bonds- never plays and gets walked alot, Francouer or Feliz, I'd give him feliz
All in all your coming out way ahead!!!

Reply:i would get feliz. he is listed in my leagues as being able to slot him at 1st base, 3rd base, and the outfield.
francouer plays 1 position and has started slowly. if bonds plays the whole season feliz is going to get some good pitches to hit.
Reply:Not a fair trade for the other guy no matter which guy you put in. Francouer is more of a well known player and if you try him you might get off with a prayer. Otherwise they other guy has to be a flat out dumbass to accept the trade. Thats gotta to be one of the worst trade you can possibly offer. Most people dont like to do straight up trades like the one you are offering. If I were you I would try a competely different trade because all of the players you are offereing are currently horrible for fantasy baseball.
Reply:Well last year, Francouer is the obvious choice. But Feliz has been hot this year, so Feliz is better.
Reply:B.Bonds
Reply:Ummm.. first off don't do that trade. Why any trade involving Bonds do you have to give 4 players for an overrated OF, an aging SP and an overrated RP? But if you insist, go with Francouer, he is guaranteed a starting spot, as Feliz has been known to tail off at the end of seasons, and having to platoon at a few positions to get playing time.
Reply:I love Pedro!!! But, he doesn't get credit for his excellent defense. Francouer might have a better AVG though.
Reply:pedro feliz
Reply:I would take:
D. Willis(FLA-SP)
A. Otsuka(TEX-RP)
B. Bonds(SF-OF)
J. Francouer(ATL-OF)
If you are giving them do not do it--it is not a fair trade.
Reply:the first one
Reply:b. bonds all the way
Reply:to you and `~rz~'
(first) those who answered bonds, he was put in the trade not what the question was asking.
i do agree that you would make out in this trade massively
id add francouer just because feliz has 1st and 3rd elligible which might come in handy, pretty much the same stats. i dont see either guy becoming much better trade bait than the other.
however you are giving up alot of potential which might kill you in the long run.
starters:
glavine got off to a great start, but he is old and already cooling down. the mets depth at SP is gone and the pressure is getting on them in NY. (yes he won his last 6, but theres an end in sight)
giving up on willis is never easy, he just hasn't pitched well starting at the WBC. i expect him to turn it around. new manager/pitching coach will learn and help his mechanics.
RP:
well izzy does play on the cardnials and has double the saves.
otsuka hasnt had the job all year hes 9/10 on saves.
the issue i see with izzy is though he's not likely to loose his job to looper, he has given up 18 walks in 20 innigns. that is never good for a closer (otsuka only has 4 in 25 innings)
i think it is a slight downgrade of closers for you there
OF:
your giving up big potential power. while bonds is struggling he has a potential to do damage, and if this league has OBP he may singlehandedly win it for you. if you need steals go for it. crawford is doing good.
id say good trade for you, good "potenital" trade for other guy.
