Should I trade away RP Jonathan Papelbon (Bos - RP) for Corey Hart (Mil - OF) and Gary Sheffield (Det - OF)?
Yes! Awesome trade for you, though Papelbon will get close to 50 Saves, a low 1.00 ERA, below 0.80 WHIP and around K's. You still have Wagner and Isringhausen who will combine for around 75 Saves a low 2.00 ERA or a high 1.00 ERA and about 150 K's. Also you get Corey Hart who is legitimate 30/30 candidate with my projections of a .292 average, 31 HR, 95-102 RBI's, and 29 SB. For who to drop I suggest Juan Pierre, he has lost the OF job with the Dodgers. Also as a side note, closers will always be there because of the injuries to people like B.J. Ryan.

Hope I helped!
Reply:Hell yeah! I would trade Paps for Hart alone. LIke another guy said....you can always get another closer off of free agency throughout the season.

Wow...great deal for you.
Reply:Yes do it! There will always be another new closer you can pick up later on. Great hitting is hard to get.
Reply:I would definetely make this trade.

Wagner and Isringhausen are good enough closers to remain competitive, although they're certainly no Papelbon. Hart is a legit 30/30 threat while playing in a great Brewers lineup. Sheffield has been going later than he should be in drafts. He won't steal any more bases, but he's got good power and he's playing in MLB's best lineup. Since you're receiving two OF's, I'd would suggest you drop one. I'd drop Pierre. He's a one category player (SB's) who lost the starting job to Andre Ethier.

Hope I helped!
Reply:I advise that you not do this. I really don't think Wagner and Isringhausen can back you up at the RP position. You already have enough outfielders in your roster. Your team is pretty good.

Also, Papelbon is a great relief pitcher, and he will give you a lot of saves this year.

Good luck this year!!
Reply:juan pierre-just useless- you can easily find equal on the waiver wire
Reply:If I were you, I wouldn't make the trade because you've already got enough great outfielders. And losing Papelbon would make your RP a lot worse.

Hope this helped,

Reply:Do the deal. You have two good outfielders and you can add Hart into the lineup and have Abreu as an awesome backup. I would drop Juan Pierre or add him into the deal because he lost the battle for the last outfielding position.
