Rate my nfl fantasy draft!


From a scale of 1-10 how would you rate my fantasy roster? I have $100 riding on my season and over $1200 to win. So how would you rate it?

Here's how I'd break it down by position:





QB - Along with Manning and Brady, Palmer is at the very top tier of fantasy quarterbacks. Even with Washington gone and Henry suspended for eight games, he'll put up big numbers. He'll have to utilize his tight ends a little more, but Housh and CJ are still big weapons. As a backup, Cutler is a nice alternative on Palmer's bye week.





RB - Well, Frank Gore is probably the third-best back in the draft behind only LT and LJ. With the 49ers strengthening their receiving corps, teams will have to be a little more honest in the box, which should mean a really big year for Gore. I wouldn't be surprised to see 12+ TDs from him. Peterson will split time with Chester Taylor which might hurt you early, but I believe Peterson will win that job full-time pretty quickly and should become a decent RB2. Chris Brown could go either way, depending on how he does early. He's going to start the season splitting time with Lendale White, so you might want to keep an eye on that battle.





WR - I think your two starters - Moss and Owens - will do well for you. Owens is arguably among the very elite, while Moss is just a step below. Joe Horn is the wildcard here, because I'm not sure how he'll fit in with the Falcons. Your depth here isn't great - I'm not sold on either Bennett or Marshall - but it shouldn't matter much with two good starters.





TE - Not much to say other than that you have the league's best in this position. It also doesn't hurt to have the best rookie TE in Olsen as your backup. He'll be sharing time with Desmond Clark, but he's still a good TE2.





K - With the Chargers offense, the reliable Kaeding will get plenty of PAT/FG chances.





D - Again, you've got the best possible pick in this position. The Bears have an incredible D and should be facing some weak offenses.





Overall, it's tough to grade your team without knowing how many are in your league. If it's a 12-team league (I'm guessing based on the money), then I'd give this team an 8.5 Your only possible weakness is at the receiver position.

Reply:im not sure if you're excited about that team or you unsure, but i would rate that team a solid 6 with the oppurtunity to go down or up 2 points depending on the other teams. there is alot of good players this year and you have a small handfull, could go either way!!!
