Fantasy Baseball?
Not a very good team.

Two hitters you're relying for power this season are not going to repeat last years performances.

Molina is a solid option

Pena will not give you 44 hr again. If he hits 25-30 be happy

Pedroia will score runs, and avg, but be average else were

Lowell had a career year, cashed in, solid but not great.

Hanley is a stud, few are better.

Ichiro is a hitting stud

Pierre one trick pony trade him

Cuddyer, solid not spectacular

Crisp platoon at best drop him.

Delgado getting old, losing bat speed deal him

Greene underrated power option at SS.

Nomar is garbage, drop him

Castillo is decent speed and avg play

Iwamura decent, but only an injury stop gap.

Bedard ace

Haren soft ace, very good #2 pitcher.

Hughes, ace or fall on face? Hopefully ace lol

Valverde, won't repeat but still a very good closer

Izzy injury concern, but a solid closer.

Lidge a head case with injury concerns.

Francis an ace in a hitters park

Garland .500 pitcher at best, use in good match ups.

Miller could be eaten alive in that division

Julio doesn't belong a fantasy roster.

You lack any real power, your pitching staff isnt very good, you're going to need to make alot of moves to help your team out.

Try parting with Juan Pierre while you still can to get some more power into your lineup.

This team has alot of issues and as it stands is doomed to be in the bottomw 3rd of the final standings.
Reply:It looks alright. You could use some more SP. I don't think Greene, Castillo, and Garciaparra are big studs in reserve. You may be better served picking up a reserve with elgibilty at several positions. Also you should try to add an OF with some power. You have Han Ram and Ichiro, so you should be competitive in steals. I'd try to trade Juan Pierre. His steals are valuable. You may be able to trade Pierre and Garciaparra for a Pat Burrell type of player i.e. 30 HRs, 90 RBIs, .260 avg. Just a thought. I always hate having extra hitters sitting on the bench collecting dust. I'd rather have extra pitchers, if you have daily lineup changes and no maximum for games or innings.
Reply:It looks okay. I would say 7 or 8 out of 10, but i can't tell you for sure because if this is a 20 team league then it is great, if it is a 6 team league then it is horrible, so i can't be sure. But guessing it is 10 or 12 then i would say 7 or 8 out of 10.
Reply:How many teams are there? You need a lot of help. You have speed, but your outfield is messed up bad. Molina is average at best. Your UTL and starting pitchers are weak, and having Lidge makes your closers soft, the Astros and Cards won't be the same teams they were last year, making their closers middle of the pack. Pedroia will need his team to pick him up, as he's only as good as the guys around him, he's no star that can carry a team like Soriano or Howard or Pedro Martinez in his prime.

They just lost to Oakland, not a very good way to start the season.
Reply:Its pretty good i would start Jeff Francis though and I would try to trade Nomar, since his spot is filled, for another outfielder because coco will be trading starts with Jacoby Ellsbury or J.D. Drew. Coco is also a terrible batter.
