I'd say it was an OK draft. Decent RBs taken at rounds 1 and 2, can't fault you there. Can't agree with taking Palmer and his spaghetti knee at 3, would have been better to take a WR there are used pick 5/6 on a QB. The only solid difference maker at QB as it stands is Manning, because of Palmer's knee situation.
WRs are respectable, you should be able to depend on your top 3 for consistent production. Chambers can be a home run hitter on certain weeks. Glenn is a great 4th WR to have.
Considering Palmer's status, I would have tried to get a better backup QB than Brooks, who could easily lose his job.
Any production you get from J. Lewis or A. Green is icing on the cake. Neither of them will lead their teams in rushing this year. They're both finished.
TE, K, and D are well taken care of. I bet you'll be using Vernon Davis more than Heath Miller.
Average team, but if Palmer does return and play at last year's level all season, you vault to a playoff contender. Either of your RBs could take the next step. Good luck.
Reply:I think the team has good balance. It's tough when you have the 10th pick. You just don't have that 30 points per week guy that the top teams have.
Reply:on a scale of 1-10, i'd give it a 4 or low 5, palmer doesnt seem to be too confident in his health, and jackson and brown could both be disappointing this year. Chambers is a top-quality reciever, the others are decent, your bench seems kind of weak, but your defense and special teams will be killer.
Reply:I'd have to say you're pretty solid. Jamal Lewis was a huge 11th round pick he'll work out nice for you. I'd give you an 8 out of 10
