How is my baseball team?
its a decent playoff team. i would probably start Renteria over escobar if you plan to win a lot more games. i would try to trade beckett for less injury-prone pitcher(ie. peavy). you need a bit of power in your OF besides Cuddyer.
Reply:i give this team a 2. they might win about 80 games with stellar pitching from their starters. but its quite obvious you dont like new york too much because alex rodriguez OR jeter arent on there an beither is mariano rivera
Reply:weak pitching /catcher avg /ss sucks / 6 of 10

It's a mockdraft I did and only got a two out of five...I think they are crazy.

Another Team League Roster.?
I'm not actually sure what you are talking about here...The fact that Upton was a second round pick, and then Martin was the third round was a bit crazy.

I would see the rest of them going, but geez, its not exactly a great team. A lot of it is based on potential. Also it would be great for a keeper league.

Good luck!!
Reply:Maybe you got a 2 out of 5 because your team sucks. Probably a bottom four team in a 10 or 12 man league.

Good team? What sould i do to make my team better? Pick up Jeff Francis, or Jered Weaver?

Good team? What sould i do to make my team better? Pick up Jeff Francis, or Jered Weaver?
I would personally get Jered Weaver he is a better pitcher tha nFrancis. Also get Oliver Perex off the brench he is better than Jeremy Guthrie
Reply:You want Weaver. As a young player he has potential to get better, while Francis will stay consistently mediocre. Also, fill your DL spots! It's like a bench spot that you're wasting! Stash someone! Anyone!
Reply:you desperatley need a catcher. i would get some trades in before the deadline. you can afford to deal lowell because you have arod. i would also deal byrnes immediately. hes been good to you all year, yes. but look at his carear second half numbers, its no coincidence, its written in stone. they even mention it in the yahoo videos with funston and evans. i would roll these two guys together and find an opponent that is desperate for 3B, OF, and some steals. they will jump all over it.

and pickup billy butler (KC). hes an OF with a few starts left to be elligable at first base too (about a week or so).

and of the two id take weaver.

you can win this....
Reply:.......
Reply:Weaver!
Reply:I'd go with Francis, perhaps not for the long term, but he is red hot right now. If you want someone who can help you today, he'd be the guy

unless the competition has all star teams i would think you have a pretty good roster.. look to trade freel and bill hall possibly. get more high batting average guys to compliment rayes.

My team is in last place--it's a home run derby league--what the heck is going wrong?
you just gotta wait it out. some of the players start off slow but pick it up later on. you've really got some powerful guys in your lineup that are tortise slow. david wright will pick it up. teixeira is always slow to start but ends up with 30 something hrs at the end of the year. willingham will get you 25-30. konerko is good for 30. edmonds could get you like 20 or so. monroe will get you 25-30. hafner could get you 40-45. so your lineup is powerful. its just they're starting off slow. just wait it out and you will be just fine come the end of the year! good luck
Reply:I dunno about the rest but as a rangers fan i can tell you Tex will come around he's started the past 3 years off really slow but got hot after the all star break and always ends up with over 30.
Reply:With that team just be patient.
Reply:dunno bad luck....last year, your golden, this year not too good.....theyll do better as the season goes on

Who should I trade Alex Rodriguez for?
sheff and cole hamels
Reply:Why would you ever trade Alex Rodriguez? He's the best player in the game. If you're trading Alex Rodriguez, good luck trying to find equal value
Reply:why are you trading him i dont get it you are not going to get anyone better
Reply:Sorry man... but that is a RIDICULOUS question.

what type of league are you in? What type of scoring do you have?

I can't tell you who to trade him for... I don't know what players are on other teams!

I could say "Ichiro %26amp; Bedard." But they might not BOTH be on the same team right now. If they are not, you cannot make that trade.

If you're in a roto league you want one type of player, if you're in a points league you may want someone different.

Is it a keeper league? A one and done???

Besides... do you really want to have somebody else do your work for you? If you do, why even be in a league to begin with???
Reply:DON'T TRADE HIM!
Reply:dont you idiot
Reply:Well, if this is a keeper league, it changes things.

If not a keeper league, then you could easily get Accardo and a bat like Carlos Lee for Arod.

Accardo isn't a good deal for a keeper league as you know he won't have a closer's job next year.

If it is a keeper league and you want to trade Arod, I would only go for Lee and Posada and hope Posada resigns with the Yankees, so he has the benefit of the articifically inflated runs and rbis
Reply:a brain. why the hell would you want to trade the best player in baseball?
Reply:The only person you trade A rod for is GOD
Reply:Well if you trade A-rod you won't get equal value in return. He's ranked number 1 just keep him.
Reply:If you have to trade him, I'd trade him for Chipper Jones (to fill his 3B spot) and Carlos Lee (to fill your need in OF). I don't think he'd add in Posada, maybe Capps.
Reply:First of all dont trade him...

but if you must i would go posada and Young.

are you playing with idiots by any chance?
Reply:all the other teams must really suck...I mean thats a good team but I see room for improvement ...3rd base,INF,some better starters and at least one more closer...you better sit morneau for a few games hes hurt but overall good team
Reply:either you are lying or you are the luckiest bastard in the world.
Reply:are you playing with idiots by any chance? how many teams are in your league?
Reply:It's a great team , but not alot of versatility. You have one 2 many Cather's. And not enough pictures. Reason being you can only play so many players daily and mostly all of your players play everyday so Prudence of such a extensive bench is not needed. Drop Rios and Johjima and pick another reliever and another infielder-slash like a Aaron Hill, Dustion Pedroia, or a Ryan Theriot
Reply:What the devil do you need three catchers for. Trade Kenji and pudge for some more pitching.
Reply:You're pitching ais good, your offense is better than average, and your ego is 10 times biger than most people

This is my fantasy basketball team, should I make any trades down the stretch or stand pat.?

I'm in a 10 team, 2 division league. My NOTHING BUT NET team is currently tied for 1st in the weaker south, with 3 teams battling it out in the north. It's a roto style head to head format with 8 catagories, the catagories are (FG pct, FT pct, PTs, Reb, Stl, Assists, Blks, 3 pt made). Each catagory is head to head against an opponent each week.

My strengths: FG pct, PTs, Assist.

Weakness: Steals

if you realy want to win i think you should of went out and got meka okafur, baron davis, and carmello anthonthy. I know this because i analyed basketball players and created a few fantasy leagues myself
Reply:Team is solid...resist temptation, don't trade unless someone offers too much to pass on.
Reply:I would try to deal either Paul Pierce or Gasol for Caron Butler. Butler will help in steals, fg%, pts, etc. He's having a great year.

If you can't get Butler, maybe Artest. He tends to run hot and cold, but when he's playing well, he's the league's best defender.
Reply:first of all u need to get barbosa in there DEFIDENTLY
Reply:I think Pierce is a waste at Forward -- he is not going to do much this year, especially with that team. I'd recommend moving him to the bench until further notice. If you can, try and pick up a guy like Igoduala if he is available -- you're looking at a kid who is becoming one of the better players in the league and has been looked to as the "go-to" guy for the Sixers...a player like him could be valuable down the stretch as the Sixers play spoiler. Good luck!
Reply:Trade Cassel and Pierce

Hows my team rate it plz?
dont listen to the other guys your pitching isnt questionable at best

c- estrada hits for average and thats as good as it gets for catchers besies mauer in the average department for catchers

1b- kotchman is ready to step his game up hopefully have a big year

2b- hendrick should do same as kotch cept more steals

3b- aram will have monster year at the plate seeing as he has lee and soriano in that lineup for protection out in chicago...

ss- freddy sanchez will not i repeat will not hit .344 again but hit in the .300 range but not alot of great offensive output besides his average

of- holliday IS UNDERRATED solid all around good for 35/110/.310 and possibly 10 sb great pick hitting in between atkins and hawpe and helton in that lineup should do just fine...

of- soriano is a stud but wont hit over 40homers this year...should be good for about 35/110/.275 and 30 sb which is fine by me

of- cuddyer also highly underrated i expect big year out of him...hitting between mauer and morneau will get him pitches to hit and sooner or later those doubles will turn into homeruns i expect 25-30/100/.290 and 5 sb whihc anything like that is a plus lol

util- hafner is a monster nuff said lol

bn- figgins is indeed hurt right now so wont get more thna 45 sb this year seeing as he is no hurt

bn- k greene is going to really hit well this year as he is showing tremendous promise in spring training so far....i think he will do just fine

p- lackey is an overlooked pitcher but can really dial it up and strike em out he will reach200k this year and 16 wins

p- wainwright is going to be great...good sleeper pick so far in spring training has an era under 1 which is amazing...lets see if he can keep that up this year which i think he willl do that....

p- sheets when healthy can k 8 a game most likely will reach 200k if healthy but is an injury risk

rp- krod is exactly that lol he will record the most saves this year in the majors with around48

rp- papelbon will get around 32 saves but do not expect that microscopic era he had last year under 1 people will see his pitches better this year

p- santana could have potentialy huge year with great upisde i see 16 wins outt of him he is quite the innings eater as well so he can get ya a decent amount of innnings if grabs 2 starts a week

p- shields is lights out as you see from his contract he got today lol...he is great at holds and 8 inning situations to get the ball to krod...will help with whip and k/9

p- zumaya can dial it up and will eventually take over the closer role in detroit once leyland realizes todd jones just cannot do it anymore

overall id say your lineup is STACKED ....you have power and speed and average spread throughout the entire lineup...you will get the majority of your sb from kendrick, soriano, figgins which is plenty just form thsoe 3 and anyothers is a plus...yourlineup can really smash the ball and has power placed throughout the entire lineup as long as you start hafner and dont keep him on the bench....if you were possibly looking for a sleeper hitter or two you could take alook at chris duncan, jonny gomes, ty wigginton, or adrian gonzalez

as for your rotation you have 4 starters and you probbaly will need one or two more if its a h2h league..overally though the people you have on the staff can realy all have breakout yeras including your closer in which you have 2 of the best closers in the game...if you were indeed looking for a sleeper pticher or two to add to your roster...take a look at chuck james, jeremy sowers, clay hensley and i usally say adam wainswright but you beat me to it lol good choice there

i hope i helped

and goodluck and have fun!!!

What to start week 8?

which rb?

Chatman vs NYG

K. Jones vs Chi

which 2 wr's?

B. Edwards vs STL

H. Ward vs Cin

R. Williams vs Chi

L. Evans vs NYJ

C. CHambers vs Hou

K. Curtis vs Min

I think im too deep at wrs. What te you think I could get and what should I give up?

What to start week 8?
Jones

Edwards vs StL

Evans vs NYJ

depends on who your giving up at WR and what your trying to get in return for them. But if its not a high end WR you probably won't get what your gunning for.
Reply:jones at rb

edwards and williams
Reply:The 2 Wr's I'd go with are Edwards vs. St. Louis. That's a no-brainer. And I'd go with Curtis vs. Minnesota. I think the only way to beat Minnesota is to throw on them and Curtis is McNabb's favorite target. The other guy I'd consider is Roy Williams but I think Curtis has a better matchup.

And for RB, I guess I'd go with Jones. I think I'd give Chatman a week to see how he does and if he's splitting carries. Plus, the Giants have a pretty good D.
Reply:RB: Jones. Chatman hasn't proven himself yet and Giants are a tough team on the backs.

WR's: Edwards and Williams. The Bears passing D is horrendous and Williams should get 90-120 yds and 1 TD.

TE: Since you are asking this, I have to assume you have a poor TE. Well, the only ones worth trading for are the top 5. Gates, Clark, Witten, Gonzalez, Winslow. In most leagues that require a TE, these players are golden. You can try a trade, but unless they are huring for WR's then you won't get one without killing your team. I have Gates, personally, and if you came to me offering Chambers and Williams I would at least think about it. Answer would be no, but I WOULD think about it.

I'd like your opinion on a proposed trade......first,here is my lineup. It is 5x5 roto baseball?

I'd like your opinion on a proposed trade......first,here is my lineup. It is 5x5 roto baseball?
The trade is OK. I don't think it is a player you really need but it is an upgrade to Luke Scott Quentin or Matthews. You can probably pick up a decent starter option with the empty spot. Your league looks pretty deep, but John Maine has been off the radar in most leagues and can provide 15 or 16 wins, a decent ERA, WHIP and has a good K/9 ratio. Zito may have a good year but overall I think Rios is more valuable. As for Sosa - who knows, he made the 40 man roster but that's no guarantee he'll make the opening day roster although it looks good. I wouldn't count on him for much after a year out of baseball. Making the deal probably makes your outfield one of the most solid in your league.
Reply:good trade,,go for it
Reply:Looks like a solid deal to me. You have plenty of depth at SP, so you can afford to lose Zito. Sosa is too much of a question mark to depend on for anything. I happen to like Carlos Quentin, so I'd bench Scott when you get Rios.
Reply:You have a lot of pitching depth, so absorbing the loss at SP is not a big deal. And Rios would be an upgrade. Sosa is a non-factor in the deal.

The problem is that you're not getting as much as you could. You should be able to leverage Zito into someone better than Rios, or at least more stable.

That said, the trade would in fact benefit you in all likelihood.

Which receivers should I start this week?

Here are my recievers, don't know which 3 to start this week:

G. Jennings (GB - WR) vs.StL

M. Colston (NO - WR,TE) vs. TB

Sa. Moss (Was - WR) @ NYG

C. Chambers (Mia - WR) @NE

Ro. Smith (Den - WR) vs. Bal

D. Stallworth (Phi - WR) (Doubtful) vs. Dal

Any ideas, and keep in mind, I can use Colston as a TE but Heap should fair well today.

Which receivers should I start this week?
Santana Moss, Colston, and Chambers. I would say Jennings but the Rams D will force turnovers and pick off Brett Farve a couple times today.
Reply:i like jennings, colston, and moss this week.

harrington is starting in miami, rod smith is against a tough BAL DEF. stallworth not worth it.

http://waiverchamp.wordpress.com/jenning...
Reply:I believe the top three, but maybe you could do four since colston can be put at tight end, but I like jennings in since drivers is hurting and ferguson is out so you got koren and jennings, my picks are jennings, colston, moss and then if you put colston at tight end I would put in chambers
Reply:Ask your start, sit, trade and add drop questions here:

These guys are awesome.

Good luck.
Reply:Jennings, Colston and Moss. Joey Harrington is starting for the Dolphins and I don't trust him yet. Rod Smith is against the Ravens and I would want no part of that.

RP- Joe Borowski (Cle)

RP- Tory Percival (TB)

P- Matt Garza (TB- SP)

P- Brian Bannister (KC- SP)

P- Ian Kennedy (NYY- SP)

Keep in mind, that this is a 16 team-league.

How's my fantasy baseball team?
i give it a 6 out 10 (10 being the best)...

R. Martin- good pickup...decent offense

Tood Helton- expect .300 BA, 100 RBI and runs, 20 HRs or so

Ian Kinslerlow key player really. 30 HRs, 100+ RBI season...below .300 BA though

Troy Glaus- probably 15th best 3B in the league...dont expect great numbers... BA of .250 or so, 25 HRs

Stephen Drew- again 15th best SS...not great offensive power. 15 HRs, .250 BA, 75 RBIs maybe

Matt Holliday- 110+ RBIs and runs, 35 HRs, .333 average...best outfielder in the league

Vlad Guerrero- top ten outfielder... OBP of nearly .400

Jason Bay- mediocre outfielder...he will produce a little offense for you, mostly runs and RBIs...with a decent batting percentage

Vernon Wells- 25 HRs, 85 runs and RBIs...there are better utility players out there though

Bench- not bad...a little offense

Pitchers:

Tim Lincecum- barely a top 20 starting pitcher, looking at barely double digit wins, and ERA over 3.75, about 200 strikeouts

Yovani Gallardo- he was a decent rookie last year, 15 wins or so, about 200 strikeouts also, an ERA under 3.40 most likely, a little more experience should prove vital in the latter part of the season

Joe Borowski- his numbers wont be great, and he may not finish the season as the closer, the big problem will be his ERA over 4.50 most likely

Tory Percival- He will be the main starter for a team in the big leagues this year...so why might he only get 20-25 saves? He is the closer for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Unless, Tampa can improve upon last years record, Percival might not be getting much oppurtunity to get into the game

Matt Garza- definitely under the radar as a starter, if he can stay consistent he has a lot of potential..but if not, then expect an ERA over 4.00, 115 Ks, maybe 10 wins

Brian Bannister- 10 wins, and ERA over 4.50, enough said...with a little luck he might give you numbers when your other starters are in a drought.

Ian Kennedy- he has only pitched 19 innings in all of his major league career. He may be worth gonig out on the limb though...he posted startling number in the minors striking out more than one batter an inning. But, since the majors arent the minors, expect a slow start probably and not incredible numbers
Reply:I think you "over paid" for Rmart. You need more pitchers/ closers, and less bench players, and there's not much speed. Still it's a decent team that I'd give a 7.5 out of 10.
Reply:hmm, you certainly picked an interesting team. I would say its more of an average team though, nobody on here is going to be an explosive point scorer, but you can expect more consistency with these guys. overall i would say you finish top 5 in your league.

Your worst Pos is 3b no doubt...look for better players like Kevin Kouzmanhoff, Hank Blalock, and iwamura (maybe even a troy glaus..but hes a lil inj)....I would not suggest longoria just because he is in the minors right now...you might want to get him later on in the year though...and your pitching is great!! I then plan on trading morneau for a starting pitcher. The reason I want to do this is because I think i am already stacked at pitching and would benefit from a better hitter

Should I Trade Brandon Webb for Mark Texiera?
I think it's a fairly even trade, but I'd pass.

Teixeira has been great lately, but Webb will probably have another Cy Young type season. I think you could get a better player than Teixeira. Your OF is your weakness, so I'd try and trade for someone there (Carlos Lee). Your SP is stacked!

Hope I helped!
Reply:No, definitely not. Texeira is an overrated fantasy player, and Webb is going to be dominant again. Don't trade Morneau either, that would not be a good move.
Reply:I wouldn't do it Morneau is good at 1st your biggest weekness on offense is your OF and it isnt really that terrible. One more solid OF and you would look good. I would see what you could get for Wang straight up and after that you look pretty good.

Fantasy Baseball?
Not a very good team.

Two hitters you're relying for power this season are not going to repeat last years performances.

Molina is a solid option

Pena will not give you 44 hr again. If he hits 25-30 be happy

Pedroia will score runs, and avg, but be average else were

Lowell had a career year, cashed in, solid but not great.

Hanley is a stud, few are better.

Ichiro is a hitting stud

Pierre one trick pony trade him

Cuddyer, solid not spectacular

Crisp platoon at best drop him.

Delgado getting old, losing bat speed deal him

Greene underrated power option at SS.

Nomar is garbage, drop him

Castillo is decent speed and avg play

Iwamura decent, but only an injury stop gap.

Bedard ace

Haren soft ace, very good #2 pitcher.

Hughes, ace or fall on face? Hopefully ace lol

Valverde, won't repeat but still a very good closer

Izzy injury concern, but a solid closer.

Lidge a head case with injury concerns.

Francis an ace in a hitters park

Garland .500 pitcher at best, use in good match ups.

Miller could be eaten alive in that division

Julio doesn't belong a fantasy roster.

You lack any real power, your pitching staff isnt very good, you're going to need to make alot of moves to help your team out.

Try parting with Juan Pierre while you still can to get some more power into your lineup.

This team has alot of issues and as it stands is doomed to be in the bottomw 3rd of the final standings.
Reply:It looks alright. You could use some more SP. I don't think Greene, Castillo, and Garciaparra are big studs in reserve. You may be better served picking up a reserve with elgibilty at several positions. Also you should try to add an OF with some power. You have Han Ram and Ichiro, so you should be competitive in steals. I'd try to trade Juan Pierre. His steals are valuable. You may be able to trade Pierre and Garciaparra for a Pat Burrell type of player i.e. 30 HRs, 90 RBIs, .260 avg. Just a thought. I always hate having extra hitters sitting on the bench collecting dust. I'd rather have extra pitchers, if you have daily lineup changes and no maximum for games or innings.
Reply:It looks okay. I would say 7 or 8 out of 10, but i can't tell you for sure because if this is a 20 team league then it is great, if it is a 6 team league then it is horrible, so i can't be sure. But guessing it is 10 or 12 then i would say 7 or 8 out of 10.
Reply:How many teams are there? You need a lot of help. You have speed, but your outfield is messed up bad. Molina is average at best. Your UTL and starting pitchers are weak, and having Lidge makes your closers soft, the Astros and Cards won't be the same teams they were last year, making their closers middle of the pack. Pedroia will need his team to pick him up, as he's only as good as the guys around him, he's no star that can carry a team like Soriano or Howard or Pedro Martinez in his prime.

They just lost to Oakland, not a very good way to start the season.
Reply:Its pretty good i would start Jeff Francis though and I would try to trade Nomar, since his spot is filled, for another outfielder because coco will be trading starts with Jacoby Ellsbury or J.D. Drew. Coco is also a terrible batter.

It's a solid team, and I'd give it an 8.5/10.

C - Martin is the 2nd best catcher and is the only one to help with steals.

1B - Konerko has power, but a lower BA.

2B - Pedroia is solid, but good for BA and runs.

SS - Greene is a sleeper. He's got good power.

3B - A-Rod is the obvious #1 pick in the draft.

OF - Ellsbury and Bourn are two sleepers for 40+ steals.

Util - Delgado is an injury risk and isn't a great fantasy player anymore. I'd trade him.

SP - Beckett and Verlander are two aces, and Carmona is great for wins, but few K's. Pedro is an injury risk, but I think he'll be good this year.

RP - Jones gets saves but has a high ERA. Betancourt, Shields, and Bell are all great for ERA and WHIP and holds.

Bench - Thomas has some power, but is injury-prone. Longoria is a sleeper if he wins the starting job. Ethier is the odd man out in the LA outfield.

You need another closer, so I'd trade either Bell or Shields for a solid one.

Hope I helped!
Reply:I tell this to alot of people your pitching is great but your batting is just ok. I think you should try to go for a good batter and fielder. Maybe trade some pitchers for a good batting and pitching team, too think out about your team is alround good. i give it a 9/10

Wow, this is a fantastic team for a 15-team league. I'd give it a 9.5/10.

C - V-Mart is the top catcher in the MLB.

1B - Gonzalez is a sleeper to hit 35 homeruns this year.

2B - Polanco is great for BA and runs.

SS - Betancourt is one of the worst options here. He needs to be upgraded.

3B - Wright is an amazing 30/30 threat who will help in every category.

OF - Markakis and Chris Young are two great power/speed combos. Delmon is a 20/20 sleeper.

Util - Taveras is great for SB's as well.

Bench - Escobar is versatile. I'd start him over Betancourt.

SP - Bedard is an ace, while Zambrano, Billingsley, and Hill are all great for K's. Wainwright is solid, and Kennedy should get good run support. Greinke is a sleeper.

RP - Lyon is a decent closer, but he may lose the job to Pena. Personally, I don't trust Gagne. Soriano is one of the most underrated closers.

I would try and get a better closer.

Hope I helped!
Reply:overall i think u have a good team, i would probably give it a 8. try and pick up one more outfielder just in case anything happens and u could drop neither Zack Greinke or Ian Kennedy other then that i think ur all set
Reply:you'll need big adjustments. it isn't bad but infield could be alot better
Reply:15 team league? How did you manage to score a lineup like that?

Martinez, Gonzalez, Wright, Markakis, Bedard, are all top 5 round draft picks, in 12 team leagues, how you managed to nab them all is beyond me.

Your OF is something that could be very very dangerous. Both Youngs and Markakis will give you 3 power/speed options, not to mention the speed that Taveras will provide for your lineup.

The only true weakness I can see on your team is saves. If Gagne, Lyon, and Soriano can all do whats expected of them, then you should be pretty well set mid-pack.

Scour the waiver wire to find a yourself a cheap closer, other then that, this is an incredible team for 15 team league.
Reply:I like this team, especially because it is a 15 team league. You have average down wiht markakis, wright, martinez, hr down with gonzalez, martinez, wright, young and markakis, and steals down. You pitching is also solid. I give it a 7/10. Good luck this year!

Rank my fantasy baseball team?
you should try and get a shore fire outfielder...someone who will you can count on because young and young are still young and inconsistent (Ha young) i think you should maybe try and get a better SS. besides that your hitting in solid. you pitching is almost a fantasy baseball fantasy. I'm not sold on gagne or wood and i dont think I'm the only one that thinks that way. you should also drop wainwright because st. L is absolutely horrible and pujols needs Tommy john surgery so if there is another good pitcher id pick them up for wainwright.
Reply:For a 15 team league, it looks pretty good

The weakest spot is the relief pitching. You will get nailed in the saves category if that is used in your league
Reply:You need more power. You have good contact hitters but I'd say get another power hiter
Reply:Considering there are 15 teams your team is pretty solid. I actually like your pitching. I would drop Taveras and look for some power on the waiver wire, or work out a trade. Your 2nd best offensive player is your Catcher which isn't good. Other than that no worries. Good luck.
Reply:You have a few good players but your Outfielding and PItching seems to be a little bit down. But, the pitching isn't too bad.

A little advice on my fantasy team, please?

Okay everyone. It is a Yahoo! custom league with 10 members.

Positions are PG, SG, SF, PF, C, and 7 B spots.

Stats are FGM, FG%, FTM, FT%, 3PM, PTS, ASST, REB, STL, BLK

I had the tenth pick in the draft, which is beautiful in this year's fantasy draft. My roster is this:

Position - Player (Round taken)

PG- Chris Paul (2)

SG- Tracy McGrady (3)

SF- Carmelo Anthony (4)

PF- Zach Randolph (5)

C- Yao Ming (1)

B- Ben Gordon (6)

B- Nene Hilario (7)

B- Randy Foye (8)

B- Peja Stojakovic (9)

B- Andrew Bogut (10)

B- Al Thornton (11)

B- Devin Harris (12)

I know that I am weak in 3 pointers so I grabbed Gordon and Stojakovic.

I should get some decent rebounds with Ming, Randolph, and above average from all other spots.

Assists with Paul and McGrady will be nice but I'm working a trade now that basically consists of Foye for Felton.

I love my FT% this season and most of my team shoots over 80%.

A little advice on my fantasy team, please?
I think your team is pretty good. I would give it a 8/10. I don't know about your fist round pick because i think there would have been somone better but other than that good except round 9. Does this fantasy baseball team seem like the owner has 2 accounts in the league?
Considering that Howard, A-Rod, and Reyes are all 1st round picks - I would say YES... unless this league has like 4 owners or the guy made some serious trades... Holliday, BJ Ryan, and Mo Rivera are also usually drafted high too...
Reply:I need more information. Like how many teams in the league. There is no way for one team to get A-rod, Howard, and Reyes on their team, unless he traded for them. If he did trade for them then look who he gave up to get them. If it looks like a bad trade then he probably does have two accounts, but you have to keep in mind that the rest of the owners in the league can veto any trade unless this guy is also the commish to.
Reply:Again, I would say depending on how many members in the league, would be absolutely yes. He is still vulnerable to someone who knows how to manage thier team and is very active. Those bats in the line-up is the scariest Ive ever seen w/o some kind of cheating going on. If this guy is the commish its a guranteed yes, if not look at the trade activity and petition the commish if anything weird comes to light.
Reply:I'd say at first glance yes, but than maybe not... His pitching staff is absolutely atrocious so maybe he made some really got trades for sp for offense.

However, it's most likely that he has two teams to which I never understood. Who wants to cheat to win a fantasy league. Isn't the best thing having your sleepers cash out for you and feeling proud of their accomplishments?
Reply:Is this a keeper league? If so, then it's possible he grabbed all those guys late last year. Otherwise, there is no way he could get Reyes, Howard and Arod on that team. Unless it's a 4 team league.

Also - that's a pretty good pitching staff with Bonderman, Lackey, Sabathia, and Papelbon.

That team is sick! 97 is your grade. The people in your league must be realy stupid
Reply:92.

You must be in a small league because there is no way you have all these players in a 10 or 12 team league. Your offense is excellent but your pitching is a little weak (compared to your hitting). You should end up winning your league if everyone stays healthy

I traded J. Weaver and Nick Markakis for Utley.

Rate my team, it's loaded?
I'm going to be honest with you, your team is bad. Both in fantasy and in real baseball you need pitching which you lack. Your best pitcher is Jenks and he can only do so much for you. Plus Thomas and Mclouth bring you down a lot. If you are in a head to head leauge don't expect to finish above .500 because your pitching won't hold and its half the game. If your in roto you may get lucky but its a slim chance.
Reply:I'll be honest, but its not really that loaded. Not even on offense. Your first baseman is only above average and your outfield is weak. Not to mention your starting pitching, which is an absolute nightmare (for you, not other teams). It should help a bit when Granderson gets back but still your outfield is not strong at all. And Thomas is aging and can only play utility, so get rid of him quick if he shows any signs of decreased offense. Trading Weaver and Markakis for Utley was a really dumb move because first of all, Markakis should put up numbers nearly equal to those of Utley, and second of all, your starting pitching was already weak and you needed that ace in there. I'll tell you what you should do to try and fix this starting pitcher problem. Go scouting in your league and find a team that is in dire need of a closer, and try and get either 1 top-notch starter, or 2 decent starters that can get you an average of 6 solid innings per start. Or since you have a decent backup shortstop in Drew, maybe you could shop Rollins a bit and come up big with some good starters.

Well I hope I helped a bit. The best of luck to you this year.
Reply:Honestly your team isnt that great cause your outfielders wont put up big numbers and u need a better first baseman. You also need better pitching get rid of derek lowe, john lester and brian wilson
