Should i take this trade Jason bay for Willy Taveras and Erik Bedard take a look at my team first?
I'm guessing you think you need steals. If this is H2H, you don't - just let that category go (you don't need to win every cat, just most of them each week). You don't need the extra pitcher (good, but on a weak team) and Taveras' only advantage over Bay is steals (meanwhile you lose HR, RBI, and AVG).





You need to be trading to upgrade your OF (not trade away your star).
Reply:Your OF is already pretty weak, whereas you starting pitching is very good. Don't do this trade.

Reply:i dont even have to look at your team, that trade isnt fair for you. bay is around a 4th round pick. taverasis waiver wire material and bedard is a low round pick, although he is pretty decent. if you want to get rid of bay, you better ask for more better players.
Reply:I wouldn't do it if I were you, you're giving up an aweful lot to get a middle of the road OF who is basically a two stat player (Steals and average) and a pitcher who is coming off a career year with a bad team. Jason Bay should be able to get you a top of the rotation starter, which looking at your team you dont need. You could however get a better OF for steals, someone like a Chone Figgins, or Juan Pierre and than an Erik Bedard. Jason Bay is far too valuable to give up. Ask for more.
Reply:there is no way i would give up bay who has the potential to be a 40/20 guy especially with Andy LaRoche hitting behind him. Furthermore, I think that Bedard would be your 5th starter, possibly your 5th behind maddux. If you have your heart set on giving bay up, then get a closer
