What you think of my fantasy baseball team 14 team league isWilly Taveras worth a pick up i need sb?
My thought is that Taveras would be a good pickup. I chose him myself in a later round in our draft. (But not that late, and ours was only a 12 team league, so Im surprised he's available) That said, he's off to a pretty slow start this year, but even still, he's stolen a few bases. He's hurt my Batting average a bit, and definitely my OPS (He doesnt draw a lot of walks). But if you can make up for that with some of your other hitters, which it looks like you can, then I would definitely pick up Taveras. He's bound to come around at least a little bit. Remember last year he had a 30 game hitting streak.





If you can grab him, do so and drop McClung. Tampa Bay sent him to AAA for the time being.

Reply:Looks decent for a 14 team league. Strong starters, but not enough relief. Offense is spotty, but you know that. Taveras is a steal if he is still in the FA pool. He'll get more playing time this year and gets to play in Coors (should help his numbers). Lose Griffey.
