Please help - Why is my Fantasy Baseball Team losing every week?

I really need some help, any input is appreciated.





I thought I had a good team, but I always lose...

I know I have some injuries, but my others seem to be good players... please help. Thanks.

Please help - Why is my Fantasy Baseball Team losing every week?
Rogers is coming back and starting on Friday but don't expect much from him immediately. He's not a great fantasy pitcher anyway but solid. And even if ur league is full, im sure that there is a hitter better than napoli. catchers don't play every day so i wouldnt want to count on them for hitting.
Reply:First of all, why 3 catchers neither one of which is great. Good but not great. Secondly your outfield stinks. Pierre is doing nothing although he is traditionally better in the second half. Edmonds is just about finished and Soriano is only in the last week or two starting to pick it up. As far as your pitching staff goes, with Carmona starting you have only two relievers and one of them is on the downside of his career. Jenks is having a good season, but without more closers you wont pick up that many saves. Lastly I dont see even one starter you could actually say is a stud except for maybe Carpenter and he is probably gone for the year. Capuano won his first 5 decisions then poof couldnt win again. Bush is up and down and the rest of your staff will win some lose some, but I dont see any ERA champions there.
Reply:The team isn't responding to its manager (i.e. you). Its time for Steinbrenner to fire your ***.
Reply:your problem is having Pierre, Edmonds, Randy Wolf, Dave Bush, Kenny Rogers, and Orlando Hernandez. These players hurt much more than they help, they hurt you when you drafted them over anyone else available at that pick and if you picked them up they hurt you when you got rid of whoever you dropped for them
Reply:Your Catchers are all bad;l Freddy is playing terrible this year, your outfield is under performing except Blake right now. Pierre is not a great Fantasy guy to begin with. Lowe is finally on pace, Dice K is up and down right now, too many injuries on your team and a lot of your pitching is avverage at best. Hafner puts up power numbers but does not help in other categories. It looks good on paper but sometimes the guy that you think is not great because you do not know his nmae is the one that will carry you through on weeks that you are close where as the guy that is on Sportscenter every night may do nothing for your fantasy team. Your pitching staff has been the all DL team this year. Spend some serious time evaluating trade opportunities. A bad trade is one where you get more guys than you give up, that always means that you are getting junk for value!
Reply:Your real weaknesses are Edmonds, Bonser, Bush...I'm not huge on Sanchez either. Are there certain categories that you find yourself weakest in? The best thing to do is recognize those categories (i.e. SB, HR, etc.) and go from there. I would bring this to RootZoo so you can go back and forth with others.

Reply:Get rid of edmonds he isn't really that good. You could probably pick up a good replacement for him.
Reply:WAIT ON YOUR PITCHERS BUT IN THE OTHER CATEGORIES YOU NEED TO PICK OUT ABOUT 7 STATISTICAL CATEGORIES TO DOMINATE AND PICK UP PEOPLE THAT ARE LEADERS IN THOSE CATEGORIES.
Reply:1) You have 3 catchers and Martin is the only one who is producing much. The other two will just pull your average down and are not giving you much.


2)Sanchez and Edmonds are awful, just get rid of them.


3)Bush,Campuano and Olsen will also do you more harm than good and Wolf has been getting shelled lately. Either don't carry so many starting pitchers or pick up guys who are hot and have matchups against weak team that week.
Reply:need of help, and sp get rid of bonser/ capuano and carpenter are hurt, drop cap he hasnt been doing well and maybe o dog too
