I'm in a 8-man roster "Salary Cap" League...my pitchers are having problems right now, at least thats what i think...i was thinking, SHOULD I SELL SORIANO, BUY DAN UGGLA, AND BUY A BETTER PITCHER? IT WOULD GET ME ABOUT 4 MILLION WHICH would be enough to buy JERED WEAVER assuming he gets called soon...would that be a good move?
Here's the team I got right now...
P Liriano, Francisco $6,640,000
P Hamels, Cole $950,000
P Billingsley, Chad $880,000
C Laird, Gerald TEX $1,680,000
CI Pujols, Albert STL $10,210,000
OF MI Soriano, Alfonso $7,580,000
OF CI Berkman, Lance$7,210,000
OF Wells, Vernon $7,000,000
Can soembody PLEASE help?
Weaver will get called up soon, I think. But Uggla has a bad hamstring is isn't playing much now. Soriano is kinda cold right now but he is worth a lot. I would trade Berkman before I would trade Soriano. Soriano will probably be on the Mets or Yankees pretty soon. His numbers will get even better, and his value. Houston is struggling right now. Check on Uggla before buying. Check out a pitcher like Miner of Detroit. He's a rookie that you could get cheap. He is putting up great numbers too. Good Luck!
Reply:hold off on buying uggla...he just got back so wait to see if he is 100%. try getting lopez (mariners) or sanchez (pirates)...both solid options and should be able to get relatively cheap. hamels and billingsley are not good right now.
