Should I trade Dwayne Wade?

I have been thinking for a while if I should or not. Wade has been my keeper for three years but I usually finish about 8 or 9 every year in a 16 team keeper league. I just miss the playoffs.

I was recently offered

Amare for Wade.

I was wondering because Wade does have those shoulder problems.

My team looks like this

PG-Dwayne Wade

SG-Kevin Martin

SF-Stephen Jackson

PF-Pau Gasol

C-Tyson Chandler

Util-Andrea Baragani

bn-Craig Smith

bn-Luke Ridnour

bn-Matt Barnes

bn-Bobbie Simmons

bn-Grant Hill

16 Team, Keeper, H2H

PTS, FGM, RBS, STL, AST, T/O

Should I trade Dwayne Wade?
Hmmm, individually, I would definitely do Amare for Wade. Without a doubt.

But looking at the players you have, maybe not. Without Wade, you'd have to start Ridnour (assuming you dont make other moves), which is definitely a bad thing. Ridnour might not even start this year.

You also have Gasol, Chandler, and Bargnani at the positions where you could play Amare, and I dont think any of those 3 should be benched. Well after looking at your stat. categories, benching Bargnani wont really hurt you... but that PG position is still weak.

So unless you can pull off another trade where you give Bargnani or someone, for a decent enough PG, dont do it.
Reply:Might I add a note that no one seems to have picked up on? Why on earth is Craig Smith or Matt Barnes on this team? I realize this is a H2H league, but neither of them are expected to make significant strides in the future.
Reply:yes do it
Reply:since you say you don't count blocks or fg% i would say no. wade's only out a few weeks, and since this is h2h his injury only costs you until he gets back. you already have good centres and this trade will leave you with basically no assists. plus it is a keeper league so the injury is even less significant so you should be thinking who you would rather build around in the future.
Reply:Amare for wade. Take it. Now. Wade is coming off an injury and Amare is going to be stepping it up this season for sure. Do it.
