Should I make this fantasy baseball trade?
Definetely don't make that trade. You're giving up the two best players in the deal by a mile.
Bedard is usually taken before the 40th pick, and is arguably a top 3 pitcher. Beltre is also a quiet four category contributor. Blanton is decent, Soto has potential, and Glaus is terrible. Don't make this trade.
Hope I helped!
Reply:No I wouldn't. The best players are the ones you are giving up. I think Beltre will be big this year. I don't expect great things out of Bedard but he is still better than blanton. Soto is just as unproven as towles.
Reply:Your giving up a top 50 player (Bedard) for 3 players with an O-rank of 182 or worse. Beltre is also close to a top 100 player...there is no reason to do this trade. Keep your better players and don't get ripped off.
Reply:That could be a hard one, Glaus wont play 100 games this year but u need saves and giving up Bedard wont hurt u too bad cause u still have a good starting staff. All in all u needing save and Soto have a good chance to get a bunch of saves. I would do it will help out in the long run.
Reply:That's a tough one, but I wouldn't make that deal, plus you would have to drop another player since your getting three for two.
Reply:DONT make this trade. Beltre is a proven top 7 3B nabbing 20hr and 90 rbi's easily. Joe Blanton is an average pitcher on a horrible team....Glaus is at the tail end of his career, and Soto is a solid catcher but perhaps overrated and unproven. Your team is stacked and solid as it is, ESPECIALLY with 230K pitcher Erik Bedard. Dont pull the trigger and keep your well-rounded team in tact.
