Placed a team question got some good feedback on what I should look for, so I did it over and got a couple of relievers. Think my team is pretty solid my first year playin fantasy baseball, so I will se how it works out. Here is a link to check out my team not sure if you need an espn account or not, but hope you don't.

lol i see you learned from last time i left an answer and grabbed ya self a couple of closers ...lol..good work there...smart man to learn from ya mistakes

okay lets go player by player

c- barret is always a good choice offensivly he seems to produce every year as well as an catcher can besides the obvious(mauer, mcann, martinez)

1b- lee ....well um i really expect a tremendous season on him to pick up where he left off beforebeing hurt ...i wouldnt be surprised by 30+ homers/110rbis/.300 and steal ya 20

2b- cano has a tremendous natural stroke and will contend for batting titel this year in al....could possibly break 100 rbi mark and some of those doubles will turn into homeruns soon enough

3b- rolen will never regian all star form but reliable at a deep position

ss- micheal young is one of those studs who performs in all categorys or just about all categorys...hes one who will hit 20/90-100/.300+ and score ya alot of runs as well good all around player

of- vladdy ...what can i say lol? always a homer threat but can be streaky at times but i would take that risk seeing as he can absolutely smash a ball and go on these rediculous streaks hitting 10 homers in like 13 games

of- adam dunn has raw power but he has a god awful average i expect that to rise as he is learning plate discipline this spring and is almost always a lock for 40 homers

of- cuddyer is a great player who is overlooked alot ...he will get ya 20+hrs/100+rbis/.290 and steal 5 or so... hitting between mauer and morneau is always a plus for a young hitter like himself

util- hafner is an absolute beast..i expect him to contend for 50 homers this year at jacobs field in that young but really good lineup out in cleveland.

bn- markakis is a great kid who had a breakout year last year and i expect him to reproduce those same numbers with a bit more pop and more rbis but average wil hang around.300 again

bn- kinsler is someone who can turn into brian roberts given time but a bit more pop in the bat then roberts(barring roberts 2005 season when he went nuts and hitting everything thrown at himlol) good pick overall

bn- peralta had the worst sophmore slump out of all of them last year but i expect him to be back with a vengance hitting almost everything in site hitting about 15-20hrs average power for a ssand drive in close to 100 hitting around .290 as well

bn- kearns wont have as much power as his potential seeing as he is hitting in a cavernous rfk stadium

pitching

rp- bj ryan is an absolute lights out closer could record around 40 saves this year with an era around 1 which is great maybe even a bit under 1

p- lackey is underrated when it comes to the k category..he is a strikeout machine most of the team will rack up 16 wins and k 200 good pick

rp- putz had a great year last year but we shall wait and see if it was a fluke i would like to think not because he has electric stuff but its possible

p- cain is going to be an ace im telling you now...he can really rack up the innings and k's when healthy can be lightsout good pick

p- hamels is young and improving none stop he made a vow to be the ace and he could damn well be it lol...he can k around 180 and win ya 14 games with an era around 3 and a half if healthy

p- burnett if he can return to nl form which i think he will cna be awesome at times but erradic at others expect an era around 4 and 15 wins and around 200ks seeing as he can really dial it up when need be......

bn- valverde will really surpirse some people and could save over 30 if healthy

ok bro your lineup could use an injection of speed besides lee and hes a first baseman you got almost no speed...if you want to pick up some speed on the waiver wire look for chris duffy, kenny lofton, willy taveras, or dave roberts if possible....a couple of sleeper hitters in general who you might want to look into for a kearns would be adrian gonzalez, jonny gomes, ty wigginton, or a chris duncan who i am really high on...overall your lineup is stacked with power and averages spread throughout the entire lineup and i wouldnt fret about your lineup

as for your rotation your pitching is stacked with some strikeout pitchers and you have 3 good closers 1 great actualyl if you want a couple of sleeper pitchers you should really look into a chuck james, adam wainswright, ian snell, jeremy sowers, or a clay hensley if you feel you could use more depth at the starting rotation.

hope i helped

goodluck and have fun bro
Reply:I agree with the earlier sentiment that you have too many offensive bench players. You pitching is a little weak, so I would make a package deal, perhaps Dunn and Cano for a stud pitcher. You are already strong on offense, so you can afford to lose a little there so that you can better your pitching. With Markakis and Kinsler, you have guys with huge upside, who might make it so that you don't lose much by playing them in place of Dunn and Cano, anyway. I would have no more than 2, and preferably only one bench offensive player.
Reply:thats a great team, i dont know how many people are in your league but if its 10 or over you had an A for the draft in my opinion
Reply:nice offense. i like it a lot. only problem is that rolen is old and might not produce that much and dunn strikes out a lot and has a bad avg. too many bench batters, are you really going to bench kinsler for cano? are you going to bench peralta for young? NO of course not, thats why you stockpile on pitching because they dont pitch everyday which means you can start more of them which builds up your stats. pitching is nice though add more depth to it.

i say A-
Reply:B.

You have a soild defense but your pitching staff is shaky. Lackey and Ryan are the only pitchers that is almost a certain they will do well. The rest are question marks. Will Burnett bounce back from his injury last season? Putz, Cain and Hamles are OK at best last year. I would consider trading for another Ace pitcher if your pitching is lacking after a few weeks.
Reply:You definitely have a great offensive team, but you lack steals. You might win 4 of the batting categories. Your pitching is ok. Starting pitching is decent, but you need one more pitcher. Lackey is good for K's and 14 wins. Cain and Hamels are good, but still young. AJ Burnett is fragile. Your closers are ok, probably need one more. BJ Ryan and JJ Putz are good closers, maybe give you 33 to 37 saves each give or take. Valverde plays for a bad team, so who knows maybe 25 saves. You might be able to win it all.

I give you a B.
Reply:NICE, A+
Reply:Great team except put Nick Markakis in for Adam Dunn. Markakis is going to have an AMAZING season and Dunn strikes out WAY too much. Otherwise, you're set. I give your team an A.
Reply:A++, WOW YOU ARE LOADED, BUT I LIKE JOSE REYES AND EDGAR RENTERIA AS MY SS....
Reply:B-
