But I would gain:


A. Wainwright (StL-SP)


M. Corpas (Col-RP)


O. Hudson (Ari-2B)


H. Pence (Hou-CF)


J. Mauer (Min-C)


A. Gordon (KC -3B,1B)

No, you are giving up two elite guys for a bunch of mediocre guys and Joe Mauer.

Reply:well if it were me i'd take wainwright but keep santana, reason i'd take wainwright is if he does as good with wins as he did last year u will want him. he's a good starter and the cards ace.

Reply:If this is just for this season it's about an equal trade, you probably have a slight edge, but if it's for multiple seasons then you got a steal. Santana's on the backend of a stellar career, but can only go downhill while Pence, Gordon and Mauer are superstars in the making. Good luck with your team, and keep making good decisions like this.
Reply:Absolutely. Starting pitching is easier to find than good hitting. I had Santana last year and traded him halfway through the season. Hudson, Pence, and Mauer are worth the trade alone. Good luck.
